I have been nominated for a Liebster Blog Award by The Beauty Blot and The Musings Of Monique. Thanks ladies!
I’m not going to include either of those lovely ladies in my awards as you can link to them up there! That way I actually get to sneak in 7 (oooh, tricky tricky!). See the bottom of this post for the rules.
These are my five blogs (in no particular order):
Linzi Aitken Photography by Linzi
In case you haven’t noticed by the amount of photos of me Linzi has taken, I’m a big fan of her work. She has great flair and a knack at capturing simply gorgeous moments. Her talent is absolutely incredible, not to mention she is also one of my dearest friends. Linzi is still growing her business after the birth of her gorgeous daughter Lily. If you are looking for a photographer, I highly recommend her.
Adventures Of A Pastor’s Wife by Bec
Bec is a very dear friend of mine and was part of my group of kids who were all raised together. We aren’t blood related, but we are family. Bec has been married to a minister for 2 years now and this blog is funny and sweet stories about their life together. They do amazing things for others and for the community. The worries of the Indigenous community in Australia are very close to Bec & Richie’s hearts, along with the issues affecting communities overseas. They encourage me to be a better person and to think of others more than myself. Whether or not you are Christian, stopping by is an inspiration.
Vanessa Jane Photography by Vanessa
Vanessa is Bec’s little sister, and being only a year younger than me we have grown up as sisters. She was one of my bridesmaids, and is one of my best friends. Vanessa is a beautiful, caring, giving person. Her blog is a photography blog, full of amazing images Vanessa has taken in her travels, along with portraits and images for work (she works in real estate). Vanessa’s eye for photography is something I admire and her images always make me yearn to travel.
EmmaDean Salon Blog by Emma
Emma is my hairdresser, my friend, and has seen me through getting married, buying a house (it was no short journey) and getting a job I’m actually happy with. In the time we have known each other, she has had her beautiful baby boy, gotten engaged, gotten married and started up a salon in the gorgeous suburb of Balmain. Emma is talented with hair and makeup and her blog contains some wonderful advice. Definitely worth a look and if you live anywhere near Balmain in Sydney, I highly recommend paying her a visit.
Oh So Chloe by Chloe Butcher
OK, so I know Chloe’s blog is too big to fit in this category, but rarely in my life have I seen someone who has the makeup knowledge and talent of Chloe. Plus her accent makes me melt. She is a makeup artist to the stars, and is featured on Coco Perez regularly. I have seen many makeup tutorials and blogs in my time and I have never seen anyone as talented as she is. And she’s so nice! If makeup is something you are interested in, definitely visit Chloe’s blog.
The aim of the Liebster Blog Award is to recognise and support blogs* and to help people find real gems out there.
The rules are :
1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you
2. Reveal the five blogs you have chosen and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog
3. Copy and paste the award onto your blog
4. Request that people you have sent the award to forward it on to their favourite bloggers
Enjoy!
